K.B. FORM – since the company was founded in October 1996, it has become a synonym for sophisticated lamp design,
as indicated by countless awards and prizes. Since moving to today‘s premises in 2000, the company headquarters in
Rellingen near Hamburg have been producing top quality lamps for the residential and property market.



As a result of consistent expansion and further development of the design factory, the industrial division was added to
the „Living Collection“ in 1999. This USP was substantiated for K.B. FORM by being awarded with the Design Prize
for the Federal Republic of Germany.






The key component for our project implementation and light planning activities is the way we work together closely with
architects, light planners and builders. This is the only way to produce a consistent overall result which lives up to the
requirements made by the architecture and its ideas for use. Our special solutions are either integrative elements, or
play a deliberately solitary role. At K.B. FORM you will find system solutions or special lamps to add emphasis to the
architecture – special concepts from one single source, from the first draft through to the finished product. Always
exclusive, always of the highest standard. K.B. FORM Industrial – a synonym for tailor-made special lamps on the project
sector. Since 2000, this is where graduate designer and company founder Kai Byok has been focussing his creative
activities.

The planning phase of a building project defines the start of light planning in our technical department. After completing the
research, the concept is drawn up with subsequent visualization and presentation. The development conception then
proceeds in permanent consultation and coordination according to the spatial requirements. The resulting specifications
for a special lamp are implemented by cad and cam. Production begins with these specific detailed plans and results in
the assembly of the individual components. All prototypes run through our own light manufacturing process before being
released by the quality assurance department, with TÜV certificates in some cases.
